What you can expect from your IonCleanse session

An IonCleanse session generally lasts 30 minutes. We like to allow time on either end for set-up, consultation and follow-through, so plan on spending 45 minutes.

    As you relax with your feet in the warm water, the IonCleanse array, the salt that your practitioner adds to the water, the water and your body create a gentle electrical circuit. You may feel a slight tingling sensation as the electrical charge creates positive and negative ions in the water. These are formed when some of the molecules in the water discharge a proton or an electron and become electrically unbalanced. These ions are then carried through the body by the electrical current and reemerge having bonded with oppositely charged toxins and free radicals from within the client’s body.

Everyone holds toxins in their bodies. We are currently living with the greatest toxic load in the history of our planet. Toxins attach themselves to joints, arteries, nerves and tissues. Regular detoxing is essential to good health. The process of detoxing, however, is not always comfortable.

IonCleanse makes the detoxification process as gentle as possible, though there may be occasional detox discomforts over the next 2-3 days following your session, as the body continues to detoxify as catalyzed by the IonCleanse.

You can aid your body by:

•Drinking lots of water before and after your cleanse
•Taking vitamin and mineral supplements, especially if you are having multiple sessions.
•If you experience low blood sugar have a protein-rich snack before your cleanse.


How you can get the most benefit from your IonCleanse
There are some for whom the IonCleanse is contraindicated.

IonCleanse creates a mild electrical circuit with the body, therefore those with pacemaker and battery operated electrical implants should not use IonCleanse. Also, those on life support medication such as heart, seizure medications and insulin, as well as those currently receiving chemo therapy. 

For anyone taking daily doses of medication like blood pressure medications, please plan to take your medication after your cleanse.

The IonCleanse is an experimental device. It is not intended as a cure for disease, but is intended to promote good health.

What an IonCleanse session looks like
You will see visible results of the toxic particles that are being pulled from your body and the water. The water will change colors and textures. The makers of IonCleanse, A Major Difference, http://ioncleanse.com/, state that the areas of the body being cleansed and the toxins being removed can be inferred by what colors and textures are present in the water. For example - when the water turns orange, toxins are being released from the joints and from the water itself. The water will often turn dark brown or black when toxins are pulled from the liver, as in the sequence of photos above. You may see  a white, cheese-like substance collect on the surface of the water when yeast is removed from the body, or see black flecks floating in the water as heavy metals are removed. In the photos below you can see white, foamy release from the lymphatic system and dark green from the gall bladder.
